Privacy
Privacy Policy
This page explains how the ClientCellar MVP handles information in plain English.
This is a practical MVP privacy template written in a GDPR-aware UK style. It should be reviewed before commercial launch.
What information we collect
We may collect information you type into planner forms, lead forms, contact forms or future account features. This can include business context, budgets, recipient counts, event details, your name, work email address, company, phone number and message.
Lead and enquiry forms
If you submit an enquiry after generating a plan or premium preview, we may store your contact details, consent, planner inputs and planner output so we can understand the brief and follow up professionally.
Contact consent
Lead forms ask you to confirm that ClientCellar can contact you about the enquiry. We do not use that consent to claim broader marketing permission.
Contact form data
The MVP contact form stores submissions locally for follow-up. It does not send real email yet. Do not include sensitive personal information in the message box.
Planner inputs
Gift and event planner inputs are used to generate plans. The MVP does not need personal recipient names to create a plan, and you should avoid entering unnecessary personal data.
Admin access
Lead data can be viewed through a basic password-protected MVP admin page. This is not production-grade authentication and should be replaced before handling sensitive lead data at scale.
Analytics and cookies placeholder
The MVP does not require analytics to function. If analytics or cookie-based tracking is added later, this policy and the cookie page should be updated before launch.
How we use information
We use information to generate plans, answer contact requests, improve the service, debug issues and understand what business users need from ClientCellar.
How long we keep information
MVP contact messages and lead enquiries may be kept while the product is being tested and improved. Data is stored locally in the MVP database. A formal retention schedule should be added before commercial launch.
Sharing with suppliers
The MVP does not automatically forward your details to suppliers. If supplier lead forwarding is added later, users should consent before their information is shared.
Affiliate links
If you click an affiliate or supplier link, the supplier or affiliate network may receive information about the click. Their own privacy and cookie policies will apply.
Your rights
UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, delete or object to use of your personal data. You can request deletion by contacting us. The exact handling process should be formalised before commercial launch.
No sale of personal data
The MVP currently does not sell personal data.
