Plain answers before you brief a supplier

ClientCellar is a planning tool for UK corporate wine gifts and tasting events. It helps structure the brief, but suppliers must confirm live details.

How ClientCellar works

Do you sell wine directly?

No. ClientCellar provides planning guidance and supplier briefing tools. You buy directly from suppliers.

Do you check live stock or prices?

No. We do not check live stock, live prices, delivery slots or supplier availability. The planner tells you what to confirm.

Can I use this for international delivery?

Use it for planning guidance only. Alcohol shipping rules vary by country, so the supplier must confirm customs, tax, age verification and courier rules.

Gifts and suppliers

Can I use this for staff gifts?

Yes. The planner includes staff-friendly prompts, budget awareness and alcohol-free alternative reminders.

Are alcohol-free alternatives supported?

Yes. Plans prompt you to consider alcohol-free alternatives, especially for employees, mixed groups and events.

Are recommendations independent?

ClientCellar uses a curated planning database and rule-based matching. Any affiliate, referral or sponsored relationship should be disclosed clearly.

Premium Brief Pack

What is the Premium Brief Pack?

A supplier-ready planning document with a full brief, approval note, supplier questions, message bank, risk checklist and decision scorecard.

What happens after payment?

When Stripe is enabled and payment is verified, the success page opens the Premium Brief Pack linked to the checkout token.

Can I get a VAT invoice?

Stripe receipt and payment records are available through the payment flow. A fuller invoicing workflow may be added later.

Payments

Does the app work if payments are disabled?

Yes. With PAYMENTS_ENABLED=false, premium CTAs fall back to registering interest.

Is Stripe checkout required for the free planner?

No. The gift and event planners work without Stripe.

Responsible gifting

Is this legal or procurement advice?

No. Check your organisation’s gifting, bribery, expenses, procurement and HR policies before ordering gifts or events.

Is alcohol appropriate for every workplace?

No. Alcohol may not be suitable for every recipient, client, employee or workplace. Consider alcohol-free alternatives.

Supplier partnerships

Can suppliers pay to appear?

Supplier, referral, affiliate or sponsored placements may be added with clear disclosure. Fit should come before commercial relationship.
